Ch Moonstone Oakengates Let’s Motor NA NAJ NF RA BN

Diesel is the puppy who picked us.  Visiting his litter at co-breeder, Mary Jo Steger’s (Oakengates) house in Tennessee, Diesel crawled up in Casey’s lap, rolled over on his back and went to sleep.  He never really left from that point further, earning the name Sweet Diesel (aka Baby D). Despite never having any coat, Diesel was always fun to show. He finished his championship in 2009.

 

Diesel is a fun dog to train in agility, but he doesn’t enjoy the pressure of trialing.  We took an 18 month break, returning in the Performance category in summer 2011.  He quickly got his Novice Preferred title. He also competes in Rally and Obedience, having recently acquired both is RA and BN.  Diesel also trains in Tracking during the cooler months. That is by far his favorite activity

 

Diesel loves to run, tug and squeak balls.  However, he quickly shreds anything with stuffing and socks left with his reach (which is considerable).  He’s the quintessential momma’s boy, and loves to be anywhere as long as Casey’s there too.  He runs everywhere, leaping over couches, people, dogs, 35″ gates intended to keep him out of certain parts of the house. Diesel is CHIC Certified, OFA Hips Good, Elbows Normal, Thyroid Normal, and CERF Clear
